Another actual hotel, but publike. I suppose we’re seeing the original inns that have changed less in this part of the world. Good food and beer, helpful staff, and nice outside space:

Walsingham, Norfolk:
This, again, is a hotel, but it feels pub-like- it’s obviously an old coaching inn. It’s a little posh, like many of the pubs in the area, but not in a bad way- it’s not up itself, the landlady was pleasant, and the beer good and not overpriced. Lovely setting in the centre of the village too.
