Moseley:
This is a little gem of a pub: Victorian, with a tiled interior and multiple rooms as well as a beer garden. Cobs on the bar, good choice of well kept real ale, and a friendly landlord. Wish it was closer.

On a Sunday, this place is pretty quiet. It’s a bit characterless, like a Goose, Wetherspoons, or Lloyds, but the beer was OK, the food good value, and the staff OK too.
Moseley:
A nice listed building in the heart of Moseley. It’s a bit what you’d expect for the area: the odd decoration (it looks like a 13 year old girl has been let loose after a visit to Claire’s Accessories in places), but there’s an immense choice of beer and food which looked OK but was a bit pricey. The music, sadly, was that insipid ‘look how trendy we are’ electronic jazz lite crap that certain pubs seem so keen on, but the staff were nice enough and the beer well kept.
