I looked at him somewhat questioningly, and he proceeded to explain (once I lowered the window) that the &#8216;only way to get out of the junction&#8217; was to pull halfway out.<br \/>\nThis would leave you <a href=\"http:\/\/www.multimap.com\/map\/browse.cgi?X=397000&#038;Y=275250&#038;width=700&#038;height=400&#038;client=public&#038;gride=399259.185209163&#038;gridn=275149.399651106&#038;srec=0&#038;coordsys=gb&#038;addr1=&#038;addr2=&#038;addr3=&#038;pc=&#038;advanced=&#038;local=&#038;scale=5000&#038;multimap.x=394&#038;multimap.y=127\">here<\/a> in the middle of the A38 (the very busy green road). I had a low opinion of this course of action (it being both stupid and ignorant), so ignored him, at which point he tried to edge out around me. Cool. I should point out that I&#8217;m not known for over-cautious driving. Ask anyone unfortunate enough to have been in the passenger seat.<\/p>\n<p>Howver, every other BMW driver tonight has been courteous and considerate (this is true- the good ones won about 10-1), so that&#8217;s a stereotype done for.
