All in all, not a bad journey considering it was a bank holiday weekend.<\/p>\n<p>We managed a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pubblog\/?p=371\">beer festival, food, and a band<\/a> on Friday evening, which was all very nice, a visit to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beaulieu.co.uk\">Beaulieu<\/a> on Saturday, and a drive around the forest and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pubblog\/?p=375\">lunch<\/a> today, before an even easier journey home (not stopping once between Totton and the M6 Toll exit barrier)&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been off to see a friend in Totton, on the outskirts of Southampton and very near the New Forest, so Friday consisted of sloping off from work a bit early, and getting one the M40, A34, M3 and M27.
