{"id":1607,"date":"2010-09-26T16:15:22","date_gmt":"2010-09-26T15:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=1607"},"modified":"2010-09-26T16:26:09","modified_gmt":"2010-09-26T15:26:09","slug":"chasewater-and-a-hussey-in-a-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=1607","title":{"rendered":"Chasewater, and a Hussey in a State"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had a wander to Chasewater to have a look at the classic car show- it was a little dissapointing- the weather today wasn&#8217;t inspiring, but I think most of all the lack of publicity (despite the best efforts of Brownhills Bob and <a href=\"http:\/\/chasewaterstuff.wordpress.com\">Chasewater Stuff<\/a>) and the siting (well away from the cafe etc- we couldn&#8217;t see it when we arrived) didn&#8217;t help matters, and a several cars were leaving as early as 1pm. There were a few non-classic cars there too, including a slightly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barryboys.co.uk\">Barry<\/a> 2005(!) Clio, but there were some nice motors as well- a few <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/gallery\/view_album.php?set_albumName=ChasewaterCC\">pics<\/a> here.<\/p>\n<p>We went back via Brownhills rather than the canal, and discovered that since it&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/brownhillsbob.wordpress.com\/2010\/08\/01\/we-have-a-technical\/\">recent closure<\/a> the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pubblog\/?p=302\">Hussey Arms<\/a> has come to the attention of the metal thieves: the alarm was sounding inside and the roof has been damaged presumably while the flashing was being torn off (look by the chimney).
