A quick Google told me that Tesco Brownhills&#8217; pharmacy was open from 8am, so off up the towpath it was. In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=2026\">days gone by<\/a>, I might have walked, but that&#8217;s hard going for any sort of distance now, so it&#8217;s back on the bike. The EU have been stealing our miles again!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I continued on to <a href=\"https:\/\/canalplan.org.uk\/place\/j70c\">Slough Railway Bridge<\/a>, a brief encounter with NCN5, and then through the industrial estate, down Engine Lane,<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d2420.5801042679823!2d-1.9529083841876747!3d52.649498779838964!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x4870a051ff59cdb3%3A0x15237388757cc066!2sEngine+Ln%2C+Brownhills%2C+Walsall!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1557573531543!5m2!1sen!2suk\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nand back round to Tesco, with the cycling gods on my side- no stops at the junction or island.<\/p>\n<p>A decent way to get a bit of exercise, avoid a bit of polluting the planet, and sort out an otherwise tedious task.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was up early, for a Saturday, and I needed both some exercise and to visit a pharmacy to collect a prescription.
