It was not to be though. I was ready fro the whole LILO thing after last time, but had broken dependencies that took some fiddling with dpkg &#038; apt.<br \/>\nThe worst bit was the problems with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/imap\/\">uw-imapd<\/a>. Seems it&#8217;s now not possible to have plaintext passwords for it, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.squirrelmail.org\/wiki\/en_US\/UWLoginDisabled\">thanks to the ietf<\/a>. This is A Good Idea over the Internet, but a pain in the arse over my LAN.
