And back.<\/p>\n<p>Today I visited <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geocaching.com\/seek\/cache_details.aspx?guid=7c924864-6793-4d1c-9cce-70b4754dcc48\">one of our geocaches<\/a> on a maintenance visit to change the camera and check position. Afterwards the GPS told me another cache was a mere 1\/3 mile away. Off we go then.<\/p>\n<p>Suffice to say the path I followed for led to&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A manhole cover. With the cache 200ft away over a railway line and barbed wire.<\/p>\n<p>So then I tried doubling back 1\/2 mile, crossing the canal, in hope of a bridge.  No.<\/p>\n<p>So I retraced again, crossed the canal, and saw the path I should have followed, with the cache 1\/2 mile away.<\/p>\n<p>Bugger. I gave up, and just followed the Saturday Drivers at 35mph on 60mph roads back home&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;and two back. And forward. And back.
