I’ve taken it to the nearest convenient bodyshop I felt happyish* with- this means it must meet several conditions:<\/p>\n
1. Must be part of a recognised dealer group that contains a VW\/Audi franchise that uses it.
\n2. Must be an Audi approved paint & bodyshop
\n3. Must feel right, and at least sound like they know what they are doing.<\/p>\n
I realise this is a bit anal, but I have prior experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n Anyway, I will have a BMW hire car as of Monday (so I can forget the indicators, and drive in the outside lane all the time flashing the headlights), and the other party’s insurance will get a bill for about \u00a33700 for repairs.<\/p>\n That’s a heap of money. The best, franchised dealer price for my car would be \u00a37245, according to Parkers<\/a>, so we’re talking about half it’s value, but then again, there’s a bit of work to do<\/a>.<\/p>\n *My sister asked me today is I was happy with the prospect of the car being repaired.
