You can tell Fritz und Hans designed it as left-hand drive. The one thing making things easier is that all RHD cars have a manual-adjust cable, but the route of the cable is behind the engine, with a tight bend and not a lot of clearance. In one way, small children would be handy: their small size and hands would mean they might be able to actually see<\/strong> the hole and the top of the clutch pedal, rather than do it by feel, and be able to reach the engine side of the bukhead, but the amount of expletives required and cuts and grazes to get it to fit would not be so good. I’ve fitted a Scirocco cable on a car park in 15 minutes, this took hours…<\/p>\n At least now the clutch is *much* smoother, and not so heavy.
