OK-ish, but the mouse didn&#8217;t work.<br \/>\n2nd attempt was DOS Doom on a bootable CD, again OK, but no sound (I didn&#8217;t set up the sound first!). I might try this again, just for a laugh.<br \/>\nThen I discovered <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zdoom.org\">zdoom<\/a>, which is a genuine win32 port of doom, but with much improved stuff for todays hardware. Well Cool. You&#8217;ll need a copy of the original doom WAD to use it, but it&#8217;s free, and was lightning fast on my Athon 1.2Ghz PC with a basic Nvidia card, and with an (unheard of for doom) 1152 x 864 resolution.<br \/>\nZdoom is one of many ports\/revisions of doom.
