{"id":918,"date":"2008-07-29T22:13:07","date_gmt":"2008-07-29T22:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=918"},"modified":"2008-07-29T22:21:55","modified_gmt":"2008-07-29T22:21:55","slug":"foxy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=918","title":{"rendered":"Foxy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m currently tearing up the roads in a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vw_fox\">VW Fox<\/a>, as the repairs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=829\">to the Fabia<\/a> back in December have a slight problem (the rear apron is coming adrift), so I&#8217;m <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=744\">once again<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_Volkswagen_Group_petrol_engines#1.2_40-51kW\">lower end<\/a> of the VAG engine range, 1.2 litres, 55BHP, 80 ft\/lb, and windows you wind, and no aircon or central locking. However, the Fox isn&#8217;t bad, for what it is. <\/p>\n<p>What it is is a shopping and town car with basic spec, light controls, and a low price (about \u00a36400). Similar to the Yaris (in concept- but the Yaris had much more equipment and a higher price too) I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piglet-net.net\/pigblog\/?p=834\">had the pleasure of<\/a> last time, but at least this has progressive brakes. <\/p>\n<p>What it also has in common with the Yaris is height (especially the bonnet line, for pedestrian safety), and a feeling of being huge.
