Situated on the ‘ancient highway’ which is part of cycle route 1, and supposedly (though not actually) closed to cars, this serves the caravan park. Didn’t seem to be anything special, and we drank soft drinks, but not unpleasant in any way.
Oh, what a fine pub. Tucked away in a square away from the seafront, this is famed by CAMRA members, and rightly so. Incredible atmosphere and staff, great beer, and food without killing the pub atmosphere.
Almost on the seafront. Nice, old looking pub with good beer, slightly marred by the unwelcoming barmaid. Lots of outside space shared with The Port Arms.
There were things I didn’t like here: It’s a hotel bar, and a little trendy, but there’s much to like: seafront right by the pier, outside space, efficient and pleasant staff, good food, good beer. Prices a little high for drink, food very reasonable.
