A ‘spoons, so most of it is by-the-numbers ‘spoons, but this is one of the nicer ones: the conversion of the old cinema is nicely done, and the beer garden is nice. Other than that, standard ‘spoons- cheap food, decent beer, but surprisingly toilets that aren’t miles away!
I visited a Spoon’s in Birmingham with my daughter in the week. When I turned from the bar after ordering I was amazed to see Tim Martin sitting nearby. We asked him if he could spare us a minute, he was happy to chat and have some photographs. It was a very pleasant experience.
