This looked like a very traditional pub, and it was, in one way: the building and layout was very traditional, but the ambience wasn’t; nothing particularly obnoxious, and the landlady was pleasant, but the football was on loud and on multiple screens, and the place felt again like it would be “vibrant” at the weekend. Bargain price and decent Banks’s though.
