I’m still not quite feeling festive. It’s Christmas Eve, and I’m at work, and an early finsih is probably off the cards :-(.
I will start to feel festive tonight: The definitve version of A Christmas Carol, and some beer should sort things out later. Presents are bought, wrapped (by my better half, mostly!), ‘Bernard’ the turkey is in the cellar (it’s as cold as the fridge, but bigger!), as is the beer. A few cards are left to deliver, but they can be done on the way to the pub.
Meanwhile, a merry Christmas to all, and a big up to all the local blogs that BrownhillsBob has kindly saved me the trouble of listing. You’ve all done a top job: there’s been many a time I’ve thought “Must blog that” only to find someone’s beaten me to it, and done a better job.
Merry Christmas!
Hang on! Thought ours was Bernard and yours was Matthew. Turkey confusion on Christmas Eve?
Get yourself in the yuletide spirit (mines Vodka) and we’ll see you in the morning.
You are correct. Ours is Matthew my mistake. May I point out before we hear from the RSPCA that Matthew is already plucked and prepared and we are not keeping a live turkey in our cellar.
You couldn’t keep a live turkey down there: that would be cruel. Children, however…
Heh, merry Christmas you two. Thanks for your support and here’s to a 2011 free of crap drivers, TV in pubs, bad beer and insipid curries…
All the best
Bob
Merry Christmas to all from The Principality! Looking forward to seeing you in 2011 for more beer adventures!
