I’ve been meaning to mention this for a bit. Someone has made a proper streaming audio home network appliance that uses FLAC or no compression. It’s nice to see a mainstream media site not perpetuating the myth that MP3 is CD quality: it’s considerably worse, depending on bitrate, but the consumer market isn’t noted for it’s high demands on audio quality.

Indeed you did. I’ve used it a couple of times, and it’s excellent. It’s just a pity, like I said, that the mass market thinks MP3 sounds ‘well wikid, innit’.
