  1. OK, I’ve looked at this several times and I have to admit……… I don’t get it.

    I can only assume it’s an IT thing.

  2. You got it. For those of you that don’t want to read the article, ‘sudo’ is a Unix/Linux(etc) command that means ‘run the next command as another user’. If you don’t specify the user, root is assumed. Root is Unix superuser, and can tell the computer to do anything (the (rough) equivalent of Administrator in Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista).
