A while ago I lost my mobile phone, and a kind colleague gave me a Siemens S55, which then broke a few weeks later. I bought a secondhand SonyEricsson T68i from Ebay, which then promptly broke.
I had returned to my trusty, reliable, but battered and feature-light Nokia, until today. A quick visit to the ever-useful Brownhills market (source of any number of semi-legal goods and services) for the appropriate Torx screwdriver, and an hour taking the T68i apart and cleaning switch contacts with T-Cut and ethanol, and it’s back in action. It actually has all I want in a phone: small, light, bluetooth, good battery life. Am I the only person that doesn’t want a camera, MP3 player, integrated walrus polisher etc? I carry it with me all the time, so I don’t want too much weight or size, I want bluetooth (for a headset), and beside that, I use it to make phone calls.
