Yesterday we had a walk up the canal in the opposite direction to here, and paid an visit to the Manor Arms, and drank *far* too much for a lunchtime, enjoying lunch and the sunshine and “helping out” in the pub quiz.

It’s a nice section of canal to walk, though the path gets a bit dodgy in places. The journey back was by bus- too much beer again 🙂

Today I finally got back out on my bike for the first time in months: a short ride to Mom’s (the long way though) tired me more than it should.
