Spent a good part of yesterday waliking the Forest of Mercia Timberland Trail. It seems there’s a fair few Timberland Trails (sponsored by the clothing people) about. This one takes in old miner’s paths around Pelsall and Great Wyrley. Most amazing thing- seeing a full grown stag in broad daylight in Pelsall (or at least just outside). It’s also quite suprising how close to home real countryside is.
