I randomly hit upon this rather nice site about Black Country pub history last night and thought it deserved a look. As you may have noticed, I have a passing interest in pubs, and this is a wealth of information on pubs both past and present in our area. It does rather put paid to the idea that aeverything was rosy in the past and no-one ever committed any crimes, too.
