I thought I’d have some whine with my meal, or rather the absence of a meal.
We went out last night with friends to a the recently opened Athos Greek restaurant in sunny Walsall. Expected result: a few drinks, a nice meal and some relaxation after a week of hard work.
Actual Result: Table booked at 20:30, starter arrives 20:50, main course hasn’t arrived at 21:40. We say we want to pay for what we’ve had and leave, and get a load of attitude and a 36 quuid bill for 4 starters and 3 rounds of drinks.
Great.
We ended up eating McDonalds. And that was crap too. 🙁
