Christmas is here again. I’m writing this on Christmas Adam (it comes before Christmas Eve and is almost always disappointing), a wet, dark day here on Rainy Fascist Island.
Work finished a couple of days ago, and we correctly planned around most of the last-minute panics, dealing with the others with time to spare, which was nice. Presents are mostly wrapped, most things dealt with, with only a turkey and various pig products left to collect from the butcher.
I’m not feeling awfully festive, but I’m not full bah humbug either: we’ve managed to avoid much of the Christmas overload by not going to shops: my one foray into a supermarket yesterday was mercifully quiet.

The turkey and assorted pig products have been collected. Friends have called. Just a couple of errands to run and that’s it.
Merry Christmas everyone. All 3 of you that read this 🙂
