Following Sunday’s excessive beer intake, (the last post was under the influence of a large quantity of beer, as my answer to the post-lunchtime-drinking tiredness was to not stop drinking….) I was a little hung over, and the stymistress was tired. We also had an errand to run in dropping the Lupo off at a garage (who seem unusually good for the motor trade if you have a VAG car) in Norton Canes (cambelt change), so seeing as how the weather was rather lovely for a change, we took the afternoon off, had a quick visit to the excellent Railway Tavern, and then a nice walk down the Cannock Extension Canal to the Fingerpost (a OK rather than spectacular pub). At this point we felt all pathetic and got a cab home, but all in all a better Monday afternoon than average.
