There’s a longer version, with ‘I was a retarded lane hogger’ confessionals….Stunning.

I bet it’s infuriating being behind one of them in a car. Consider what it’s like when you’re towing a trailer which means you can’t overtake on the right either.
Yes.
I hate having to do the ‘cut across two lanes, overtake, cut back across two lanes’ manouevre. Not fun.
Although I think that video should also condone surface to surface missiles.
The answer for number 1, unfortunately is probably to pass on the inside, very carefully.
Passing on the right in lane 3 with a trailer is an offence, whereas there is no specific offence for passing on the inside- in fact it is allowed for when traffic is queueing.
You do run the risk of the numpty pulling over into you, or, if the coppers see you they may consider a due care and attention prosecution, if your undertake was dodgy, so it’s not without risk.
As for number 2? Irritating, isn’t it.
Having seen the ‘long version’, I think those confessors are actually actors.
Viewed the first vid, I see these muppets every day. They drive around thinking they’re regular people, they just don’t know they’re muppets.
@hoipoloi: You could be right, thinking about it.
@John: There’s a whole list of things they don’t know.
Very interesting use of the hard shoulder for filming purposes. Sure the HA psuedo-police can not commit moving traffic offences like using the shelf as a running lane. Still, WTF do I know.
Having done 700 miles home from France in one day, the only time I saw this knobish (?) behaviour was when we had got this side of “La Manche”
