Once again we’ve been to Scotland: We stayed in Banchory a small town that the locals insist is a village. Whatever, it’s a nice place. It’s got some nice old buidings, including the Glen O’Dee Hospital:

One reason for the visit to this area was to go and have a look at Aberdeen. It’s a big city, and in that way like many with the traffic and bustle. Some nice buildings again, but the real surprise was the beach.

We also had an entertaining drive up the A939, and back, walked about Scolty Hill, and visited a few castles.
