We spent the weekend in Oxforshire, staying in a nice country pub for a couple of nights, and we had a walk along the Oxford Canal and a public Bridleway. We discovered a nice local lager as well as some real ale, and had some decent pub food too, and went and had a quick look at the magnificent Blenheim Palace, pondering what it must be like to be able to say to some assorted minion:

“I would like a waterfall. Make it so.”.
