Eight Millimeter

The search through the slides continued, and has failed to turn up what I was looking for (though it did reveal photos of me dressed like what can only be described as ‘a right tit’ in the seventies). So now it’s off to the movies. The 8mm movies.

I located the projector, and after a bit of persuasion and multimeter poking, it ran, sloooowly. Like Andy’s, it needs a new belt (the original was very stiff, but I suppose as it’s a good 35 years old that’s not too bad), so off to Ebay it was. It also didn’t light up, and I was fearing the transformer had failed (there was 12v off-load which seemed to dissappear when loaded), but a bit of fiddling with the lamp connector fixed that, so when the belt arrives all I have to do is work out how to load the bloody thing.
