Had the misfortune to buy and read the Sunday Mercury today. It’s a local sunday paper from the Birmingham Post and Mail. What an utter pile of shite. We bought it because

1. It’s not a broadsheet (and therefore physically irritating to read)
2. It’s not the Suday Express or Mail (the paper for the outraged Middle England)

Problem is, it’s like the News of the World, but without the journalistic integrity or quality.
