This week’s excursion was a trip to Wolverhampton by train while there still is one as a nice alternative to the chav express, a swift one in the Great Western, and a walk along the W+E to Wednesfield, and The Vine both of which are superb pubs. The Vine in particular is lovely in an architectural way, but both serve good food and beer. Journey home via several buses- The Vine is harder to get to than is really desireable.
